Upon the death of Joan's brother Hal on May 3rd, 1963, he was employed as a desk clerk at this newly-built (in 1963) motel. At the time of his death, Hal lived in the Parkway Motel, located just over a mile away. Click here to read about and view photos of the Parkway Motel.
