August 16th, 2020:

Youtube: Added two video uploads this week. Joan's appearance in the the 1973 television film "Journey To The Unknown," and Christina Crawford's 1971 appearance on the television show "Ironside."

Missed Opportunities: Added three newspaper articles regarding Joan's scheduled guest appearance on "The Name of The Game" in December 1970. Joan later canceled her appearance due to illness, however, the facts surrounding the circumstances suggest she may have canceled her appearance due to early promotion that she and her daughter, Christina, would be working on the same lot at the same time on different projects.

Biographies: I added my review and opinions on the various Crawford biographies and books - 27 total. I hope this will help serve as a resource for fans wanting to separate the good bios from the bad. There is no other resource offering the opinion of a Crawford researcher regarding the biographies on Joan.

August 9th, 2020:

     Added two entries to the
Rumored Television Appearances page. They include "The Merv Griffin Show" (September 26th, 1972) and "Sunday Night Joan Crawford Theater." Joan did not appear in either of these alleged television appearances

Added four letters (one, two, three and four) to Joan from The William Morris Agency to the "Letters To Joan" page. These letters range from December 1970 to December 1972; three of which are in regard to potential projects that Joan did not accept. One in particular is regarding Joan's cancellation from filming the television show "The Name of The Game," episode "A Capitol Affair," in December 1970. More about this production can be read on the Missed Opportunities page devoted to this canceled project.

Corrected the actual date for Joan's filming of "Journey To The Unknown." According to William Morris agency documentation that I have obtained, Joan filmed her hostess scenes for this television film on August 29th, 1972 - not in 1969 as told on various online sources. Joan recorded her scenes at the WOR-TV Recording Studios in Manhattan, New York. This is also confirmed in a September 12th, 1972 letter to fan Ambrose Dubek. Because this project was filmed on August 29th, 1972, that makes Joan's appearance on "Journey To The Unknown" the last professional assignment for a television show or film. "The Sixth Sense" was filmed in July 1972.

February 6th, 2020:

 YouTube

Added the 1967 documentary "Easter Island" to the website's YouTube channel. The documentary is narrated by Joan. This documentary is often cited as being from 1975, however, that is primarily due to the documentary premiering on PBS in 1975. Through my research, I discovered this documentary was recorded in 1967 in Chile, and later translated into English and re-narrated by Joan as part of a traveling art exhibit in late 1968 exhibit entitled "Easter Island: The Mystery of The Pacific." The exhibit included an 8-ton statue from the island. Joan's narration for the documentary  was most likely recorded in late 1967 or 1968.
