​Character Summary: Joan was to have portrayed a savvy, "legal whiz" attorney.

​Joan's involvement in the production: 
     In early 1961, Screen Gems producer, William Dozier, was going to begin ​production on the weekly, half-hour show, set for the 1961 fall television season. 
A party was held at the New York restaurant "21' for the contract signing, and shortly afterword, the series was cancelled. ​

     In October 1961, after the show had not premiered on television, Joan said "After what happened to Barbara Stanwyck, June Allyson and Loretta Young, I doubt if the time is right."​
     Production on the series never resumed. ​
